This project’s objective was to create a calendar that would showcase Manatee County, as a whole. The goal was to incorporate social media alongside the printed design. To achieve this goal, the hashtag “#OnlyInManatee” was created to encourage and promote the beauty and uniqueness that Manatee County has to offer. Citizens, employees, and visitors were able to use this hashtag on social media to submit their photos for a possible feature in the final printed design. This hashtag and calendar also helped promote local businesses and parks to those who were visiting the area. All typefaces on the heading images and stamps were illustrated and original to this campaign and calendar. This project was a first place winner for the 2022 Blue Pencil Awards.
